Shrishti Sharma
Guinness World Record Holder In Limbo Skating
The fastest time to limbo skate under 10 bars is 1.69 seconds and was achieved by Shrishti Dharmendra Sharma a student of Centre Point School, Wardhaman Nagar, Nagpur (India) in W.C.L. Umred, Nagpur, Maharashtra, India on 20 February 2021.
Shristi has been inspired to do something ‘big’ since childhood. After seeing limbo skating on the television, it piqued her interest and training began the very next day. She had become very flexible following regular yoga practice with her mother so the skating allowed for something different and creative. While Shristi was nervous on the day of the record attempt, the support of her parents helped her through.
Shristi is proud to be a Guinness World Records title holder as it gives her the platform to bring attention to ‘Save the Girl Child’, a charity close to her heart which seeks to fight for gender equality in infant females.
